OIL to GAS conversion burner. This burner will install to your current boiler, furnace or water heater. It features a fully adjustable mounting flange to set your'insertion depth' properly. You MUST clean your current boiler, furnace, or water heater thoroughly with brushes and a shop-vac to assure proper venting of the exhaust gases when converting from oil to gas. WHEN FINISHED YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN DO A COMBUSTION ANALYSIS TO OPTIMIZE EFFICIENCY AND TO MINIMIZE ANY NOXIOUS EXHAUST GASES. We are not like the OTHER GUYS! This unit requires precision drilling and reaming of the orifice for the proper BTUs desired. LIMITED TECHNICAL INSTALLATION SUPPORT IS INCLUDED BUT IS LIMITED TO THE IMMEDIATE AREA NEAR THE BURNER UNIT ITSELF---NOT THE PLUMBING FROM THE SUPPLY TO THE UNIT. This burner also requires COMBUSTION TEST EQUIPMENT when INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE to be able to measure the exhaust gases and determine if the combustion is safe & correct. Adjustments can be made depending on the Test Equipment readings and should be done by a licensed GAS technician.

You WILL however need a technician when done to check your work for possible gas leaks with a pressure tester. You will also need him to possibly fine-tune your combustion adjustments for proper burn and to adjust it for minimum noxious fumes and pollutants. Some localities may require a chimney liner be installed when using gas fired equipment.

Please check your local codes. Most localities also require a pressure test (by a licensed gas plumber) of the gas plumbing whenever a change/addition is made to the new or existing gas plumbing. Also some localities may not allow a homeowner to perform his own gas plumbing or electrical work at all. Some do and require a pressure test as stated above.

Incorrect or faulty installation of this product can cause serious injury or even death! Please check with your local gas plumber BEFORE putting any self-installed appliance into service.
